Before it's too late

 Before it's too late

For she was a tiny little girl

Of little things.

Yet her dreams were not too small.

She was the one who seeks,

the one who never stops moving.

As for her,

The sky was never the limit.

Yet she feared if she could make it.

For how easily life transcends to death.

Perhaps that's why they say- 'Time Flies'

Before she takes her last breath,

All that she wished for,

Was to live a life with no regrets.

A glance did she give-

to all the things she left incomplete.

There were stories she couldn't tell,

And places she couldn't visit.

Secrets were yet to unfold,

And mysteries remain unsolved.

The words she left untold,

And her poems were left unfinished.

Leaving everything behind,

Will she solely move towards darkness and never come back?

She wonders if the lights that were put off would ever turn on again?

She stayed awake all night,

wondering if there's a tomorrow.

Realizing she doesn't have much time to sleep,

She woke up

And let life begin!
